1950 Born during major blizzard, second of four blue eyed girls Portland OR
1964 Camp bugler, for four consecutive summers, Camp Namanu Sandy OR
1965 Climbed Mt. Hood, with the Mazama’s Government Camp OR
1968 Political Cartoonist & Illustrator for “The Scab Sheet 10 cents for the Truth”, underground newspaper supporting antiwar movement, OSUCorvallis OR. Met fellow activist and future husband, Alex.  
1974 B.F.A. Painting Fort Wright CollegeSpokane WA
1975 Learned "street smarts" from inmate students while teaching at the State Penitentiary Salem OR

1978 Traveled the majority of USA, by car, to visit every paper mill for husband's work

1984 Bought Louis Bunce painting to commemorate birth of second child, named Louie  
1989 Bought Amanda Snyder painting, "3 Birds in a Nest", to commemorate birth of third child  
1994 Appointed Commissioner, Metropolitan Arts Commission, City of Portland OR
1995 Visited Monet's garden with husband and kids  
2003 First woman in USA to use cryolumpectomy to treat breast cancer, Karmanos Cancer Institute, Wayne State University, Detroit Medical Center, MI Detroit Medical Center, MI
